7. Open Device Manager. Under the “Ports (COM & LPT)” devices,
locate and select (double click) the “USB Serial Port (COM#)” the Tech
Port is plugged into. In the “General” tab, verify the “Manufacturer:
FTDI” and status “This device is working properly.” Note/record the
COM port number indicated as it is required for the terminal emulator
PowerTerm®.
