STEP 2

Cover the area shown in red in PIC 1 with masking tape.

STEP 3

Use a flat bladed screwdriver to CAREFULLY pry off the OEM cover. The OEM
cover is attached to the engine with adhesive. The adhesive does not need to
be removed to install the new cover.


STEP 4

Align the two holes in the Crank Cover Accent with the threaded holes (PIC
2
) in the engine case.

STEP 5

Refer

to

PIC 3. Attach the Crank Cover Accent to the engine case with the

two included M5 screws.







TIP:

The lower screw may be difficult to reach with a standard hex wrench. The
following steps may help you gain access to the lower screw.


Remove the floorboard-assembly screw shown in PIC 4 and 5.


Slide the floorboard-assembly forward or rearward to gain access to the lower M5
screw.


Tighten the lower M5 screw.


Return the footboard back into its original position. Ensure that the floorboard as-
sembly screw is installed in the original hole (The floorboard-assembly screw does
not necessarily have to be installed as shown in PIC 4 and 5).


Torque the floorboard screw to 96 inch pounds (in-lbs).

It is the end user’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasten-
ers (including pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of
the motorcycle. Küryakyn will not issue a warranty on compo-
nents lost due to improper installation. Periodic maintenance may
be required.
