STEP 2

. Remove the two OEM screws; set them aside, they will be reused.
STEP 3 Slide the top of the cover in between the tappet blocks, then
rotate it down, and gently push it straight in until the screw
holes align.
STEP 4 Secure the Cover to the tappet blocks with the screws from
STEP 2 . Leave the screws loose until both have been started
in their threads.
STEP 5 Torque the screws to 85-115 in lbs (9.6-12.9 Nm).

SLIDE THE TOP OF THE COVER IN BETWEEN THE TAPPET BLOCKS, THEN
GENTLY PUSH STRAIGHT IN UNTIL THE SCREW HOLES ALIGN
It is the end user’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners
(including pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcy-
cle. Küryakyn will not provide warranty coverage on products or compo-
nents lost or damaged due to improper installation or lack of maintenance.
Periodic inspection and maintenance are required on all fasteners.
