Plate Compactor Storage
For storage of the plate compactor for over 30 days, the
following is required:
■ Drain the fuel tank completely
or add STA-BIL to the fuel.
■ Run the engine until the fuel is completely consumed.
■ Completely drain the oil from the engine crankcase and
follow procedures described in the ROBIN engine Owner's
Manual for engine storage.
■ Completely drain the compactor's hydraulic oil from the
vibrating case.
■ Clean entire plate compactor, especially the bottom plate
removing all dirt and foreign matter.
■ Cover plate compactor and engine with plastic covering
or equivalent and store in a clean, dry plac e.
