2. A pull down menu will appear. Click on Create Shortcut.
3. A shortcut named Shortcut to GX-94 will be created in the GX94-

Eagle folder. If you keep creating shortcuts, the names will be
Shortcut (2) to GX-94, Shortcut (3) to GX-94, etc.

4. Right click on the shortcut you created.
5. A pulldown menu will appear. Click on Properties.
6. A Properties Window will appear with two tabs: General and

Shortcut. Click on Shortcut to bring the Shortcut tab to the front.

7. One of the fields on the Shortcut tab is Start in:. The path in the

Start in: field is where the retrieved data is stored and where the
software looks for data to display when the program is started using
this shortcut. This is also where exported text files are sent.

NOTE: Do not change the path in the Target: field.

8. Enter the desired location in the Start in: field to store the retrieved

data, for example “C:\Program Files\RKI INSTRUMENTS INC\GX94-
EAGLE\Data1”. Be sure the path is a valid path and that the destination
folder, Data1 in this example, has been created.

9. You can either create several shortcuts to store the data in various

folders or change the Start in: path before you use a shortcut to start
the program to store data in various folders.
