Operation Area Introduction
Menu
Icon Description
File‐>Exit Exit the GPS Configurator.
Settings‐Export Export the tracker’s currently configuration file to your local PC.
Settings‐>Import Import the tracker’s configuration file from local PC to the tracker.
About‐>About Manufacturer’s information and GPS Configuratior version.
Port No. Select the local RS‐232 port to communicate with the tracker.
Connect
Connect the GPS Configurator to the tracker, which will use the PC’s
local RS‐232 port.
Disconnect
Disconnect the GPS Configurator to the tracker and release the PC’s
RS‐232 port.
Read Read tracker’s currently settings.
Write
Save changes into tracker.
Note: Reboot for changes to take effect.
Default
Set tracker to default factory settings, which will take effect after
clicking “Write” button.
Reboot
Reboot the tracker.
After rebooting, user should disconnect and re‐connect to the RS‐232
port again.
Exit Exit the GPS Configurator.
Disconnecting Tracker is not communicating with GPS Configurator.
Connecting Tracker is communicating with GPS Configurator.
Serial Port
Settings
Show the current RS‐232 communication parameter.
Important Notice
You must save your parameter changes by clicking “Write” button and then reboot your tracker by clicking “Reboot”
button to take effect for the parameter changes.
