1. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons or
death, and property damage including the following :

2. CAUTION: HIGH TEMPERATURE - RISK OF FIRE. Keep electrical cords,

and combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,

clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (36 inches) [90 cm] from the front of the

heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

3. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch

hot surfaces.

4. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children

or infirm persons. Always supervise children and instruct and ensure that

they do not play with the heater.

5. Always unplug heater when not in use. Never leave the heater unattended

during operation.

6. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater

malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater

to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical

adjustment, or repair.

7. Do not use outdoors or in wet environments.

8. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar

indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or

other water container.

9. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners,

or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic areas where it will not be tripped

over.

10. Arrange the cord at the side and back of the heater - do not allow cord to

drape over the heater.

11. To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.

12. Only connect the heater to a 115 - 120Vac outlet that is properly grounded.

Ensure the electrical outlet is readily accessible to be able to disconnect the

heater when needed.

13. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the heater or any ventilation
