PTA-1 External Photocontrol - 1/2" Thread Mount , 120V
PTA-8 External Photocontrol - 1/2" Thread Mount, 120V to 277V
* Open door (C), loosen (2) retaining screws (D). (Fig. 11)
* Install vandal shield using (3)
self threading screws (V) provided.
* From the inside of door, on each (3) bosses (T)
drill door thru using .173" diamter No.17 drill bit (not provided).
* Remove metal chips and close door.

* Remove hole plug (N) from the side of housing.
* Install photocontrol (PTA) on the outside of housing.
* Apply pipe sealant to photocontrol thread to prevent leakage.

* Insert photocontrol wires thru opening.
* Wiring: Refer to Photocontrol manufacturer wiring instruction
provided with Photocontrol.

* Lock with locknut at correct photocontrol orientation.
* Remove protective film from shield surfaces.
