Uninstalling the WD SmartWare Software
Use your operating system’s Windows Installer utility to uninstall the WD SmartWare
software:
1. Click Start > (All) Programs > Western Digital > WD SmartWare > Uninstall
WD SmartWare.
2. Click Yes at the Are you sure... prompt.
Note: You can also use your operating system’s Add or Remove Programs
function to uninstall the WD SmartWare software.
Important: Uninstalling the WD SmartWare software deletes all existing backup job
configurations. You must restart the backup job manually after reinstalling the software.
