Wintec FileMate SATA II with Mini USB 2.0 - Manual

1. Attach the Mini USB 2.0 cable to the SSD.
2. Plug the other end of the USB 2.0 cable into your system.
Installation for Mini USB 2.0 Connector
1. Shut down the notebook.
2. Disconnect all notebook power cables.
3. Remove the notebook battery.
4. Locate the hard drive panel on the bottom of your notebook (see your notebook’s user manual).
5. Remove the panel.
6. Remove the existing hard drive and any proprietary connectors or spacers (if present).
7. Install any proprietary connectors.
8. Align the SATA connector pins on the SSD drive with the drive bay.
9. Slide the SSD drive in so that there is no gap between the drive and the connectors.
10. Reattach the hard drive panel (removed in step 5).
11. Reinstall the battery.
12. Reattach the power cable.
