Although the Power Transformer does not require maintenance on a routine basis, maintenance
must be performed whenever a deficiency is indicated by routine inspections or tests. Any
maintenance warranted must be performed before resuming normal use of the transformer.

The Power Transformer has two fuses to protect the vacuum lifter's power system from current
overloading. If any powered feature does not function when the power cord is connected to the
external power source, it is likely that at least one of the fuses is blown and needs to be
replaced. Fuses are located in externally accessible holders mounted in the transformer
enclosure.
To remove a fuse for inspection, push the end of the fuse holder inward and turn it counter-
clockwise; then pull out the fuse holder's end, exposing the fuse attached to it. If the fuse is
blown, replace it with the appropriate size and type of fuse, as indicated by markings on the
blown fuse (contact Wood's Powr-Grip for assistance, if necessary). To install a fuse, reverse the
removal steps. Secure the fuse by pushing the end of the fuse holder inward and turning it
clockwise until it stops.
