Gauges with SW Version 2.1 or older should be upgraded to Version 2.2 part # 248.0087; contact Bendix
CVS for upgrade instructions; does not apply to Version 3.0 or higher.
Note 1:
Some Features not compatible
J1939 Receiver Version 1-3 does not have features such as trailer monitoring and multi-tire autolearn.
Software upgrade on receiver is required to access these additional features.
Note 2:
CAN communication limitation;
some features not supported
1. This version of receiver is able to send RTS/CTS and BAM sessions simultaneously but the gauge
does not support this. This will cause the gauge to initialize improperly.
2. This version of receiver has features such as trailer monitoring and multi-tire autolearn which this
version of the gauge does not support. Software upgrade is required to access these additional features.
Note 3:
DTC format change
Because the DM1 version is not recommended by the SAE standard, it is recommended to upgrade
receiver to R1-3, which uses latest DTC format and includes additional enhancements.
