DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Apply only as directed. Wash off any fertilizer which

accidentally gets on foliage. Reapply every 2-3 months,

as needed.

2 cups of this product weighs approximately 1 pound.
Gardens & Flower Beds: Apply 1 lb. per 50 sq. ft. in

early spring. When blossoms begin to bud, apply the

same amount alongside or around the plants.
Bulbs & Annual Flowers: In Spring or Fall, before

planting, apply and mix 1 lb. per 10 sq. ft. into the upper

6 inches of soil. After planting and prior to blooming,

apply ½ cup per 10 sq. ft. alongside the plants and

water in well.
Potted Plants: Use 1 Tablespoon per 6 inch pot.

Sprinkle onto soil and water in. Reapply every 6-8

weeks.
Planter Boxes: Before planting, add ½ cup per 25

quart (1 cu. ft.) of soil. Mix well. 4 to 6 weeks later,

apply ½ cup as a side-dress.
Shrubs and Small Trees (under 10’ tall): Measure

the height of the shrubs and apply ½ cup per each foot

of height. Distribute evenly around the shrub, under

the branches, and water in.
Trees (over 10’ tall): We recommend you place the

fertilizer in a series of holes surrounding the tree, in

the area commonly referred to as the “Drip Line”. Dig

a series of holes approximately 2” in diameter and 12”

deep around the tree, under the branches (beginning

a few feet from the trunk). Space holes approximately

2’ apart. Apply ½ to 1 cup per hole, cover with soil and

water in.
Vegetables: Before planting apply 2 lbs. per 100 sq.

ft. and rake into the soil. Row Applications: After plants

are established, apply as a side-dressing down the

rows, alongside the plants at the rate of 1 lb. per 50’ of

row.
Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries: In the

Spring, apply 1 lb. per 25 feet of row.
Blueberries: In the Spring, apply ¼ to ½ cup per plant.

For new plantings, apply half this amount.
We hope you enjoy using our products and the results

they produce. Remember to always follow directions

carefully.

Happy Gardening!

WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN?

Fertilizers are rated by three numbers, such as 10-10-10.

The numbers tell what percentage of primary nutrients

the fertilizer contains. The first number is the percentage

of Nitrogen (N); the second number is the percentage

of Available Phosphate (P

2

O

5

); the third number is the

percentage of soluble Potash (K

2

O).

When purchasing and using fertilizer, keep in mind that

typically the first number (Nitrogen), emphasizes a green

color and denser foliage. The middle number (Available

Phosphate), emphasizes the development of flowers, fruits

or vegetables. And the third number (Soluble Potash),

emphasizes overall plant hardiness and its ability to withstand

stress.
