General safeguards
• Please read the instructions and keep them safe for future
reference.
• When using the machine, always ensure the machine is on a
flat and stable surface.
• Do not touch the heating plate of this machine, as it may be
hot.
• Keep out of reach the reach of children at all times.
• Do not tamper in any way with the internal mechanisms of
this machine.
• Do not close the lid when the machine is in use.
• Do not immerse in liquid.
Service
• Within a warranty period of 2 years from the date of
purchase, ACCO Brands Europe will at its own discretion,
repair or replace defective original parts. The warranty
specifically excludes faults or breakdown occurring as
a result of accidental or intentional misuse or failure to
operate or maintain the machine in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.

Maintenance options
• If you would like to extend your warranty coverage beyond
the stated manufacturers period, please consult your local
ACCO Brands Europe reseller for options.
Setting up
1 Remove your T400 Thermal Binder from the packaging.
Check that the Rating Plate on the machine corresponds
with your electricity supply.
2 Place the Thermal Binder on a flat stable surface. The plug
should be inserted into a near and easily accessible outlet.
3 Lift the lid of the machine into the upright position, before
switching the machine on. (diag.1)
4 Press the ‘On/Off’ Switch (on/off symbol I) on the control
panel to switch on the machine. A red LED light indicates
that the machine is on and the heating plate is warming up.
