General safeguards
• Please read the instructions and keep them safe for
future reference.
• When using the machine, always ensure the machine
is on a flat and stable surface.
• Do not touch the heating plate of this machine, as it
may be hot.
• Keep out of reach the reach of children at all times.
• Do not tamper in any way with the internal
mechanisms of this machine.
• Do not close the lid when the machine is in use.
• Do not immerse in liquid.
Setting up
1 Set the machine up on a flat stable surface.
2 Attach the handle to the machine in a vertical
position onto the axis and secure with the knurled
screw (See fig 1).
3 Insert the plug into the socket and turn on the
machine by switching the mains switch (A) on the
right side to ‘On’ (See fig 2).
4 Test the punching system on scrap paper first before
punching your final document.
5 Protect the machine from moisture, dust and direct
exposure to sunlight and do not place it near heating
or air conditioning machines.
