How to punch documents for
WireBind 34 and ClickBind
(34 holes, round)

Set the paper edge guide

• Set the paper edge guide to the required paper format

in such a way that the edges of the document are not

punched.

The graphic display on the machine will help you.

Smooth edges and insert the document into the

punching channel

• Tap the edge of the document against a flat surface to

ensure that all the sheets are aligned.

• Place the document into the punching channel ensuring

that the side to be punched is facing downwards in the

front punching channel. (max. 12 sheets of 80g paper or

2 PVC plastic foils of 0.2mm each)

Punch

• Press the punch handle downwards.
• Move the punch handle upwards again and remove the

punched document.

BINDING TIP!

Simultaneous binding and punching:

You can insert the punched material into a wire/click before you

punch the remainder of your document.

Set the paper edge guide

• Set the paper edge guide in such a way that the edges of

your document will not be punched.

The graphic display on the machine will help you. Guiding

lines marked on the document stand make it easier for you

to align your document in DIN A4 and DIN A5 formats.

Set the de-selectable punching pins

7 of the 21 punching pins can be retracted individually.

This prevents edges being punched when handling special

formats.

• Position the document stand and move the punch handle

upwards.

Note: The blades can only be retracted and re-inserted

when the punch handle has been moved to the upward

position.

• Fold the transparent covering upwards.
• Press the button relevant to each blade (button down =

blade in position, button up = blade retracted).

back punching channel. (max. 20 sheets of 80g paper or

2 PVC plastic foils of 0.2mm each)

Move the punch handle upwards again and remove the

punched document.
