TO USE
Make sure the scale to be verified has
been properly levelled and has a zero
reading with no weight in the pan.
Using the forceps (tweezers), set a
check weight or a combination of check
weights on the scale pan. Move the pois-
es on the scale to correspond with the
amount of weight that was placed in the
scale pan. The scale beam should return
to a zero reading.
