SCANNING APPLICATION
CaptureOnTouch is utility software which allows utilization of a broad range
of data with easy scanning operation.
A user interface is adopted which enables an intuitive grasp of scanner set-
tings and work progress, making for efficient file saving, E-mail attachment,
and printing of scanned images.
Even first-time users will be able to scan with ease.

P-215/DR-2020U/2010C/2510C/2010M/2510M/C125/3010C/M140/M160)
Simple
In addition to launching from the Start menu, this software can also be
launched from the taskbar or the machine's buttons, providing simple
operation.
Speedy
Scanning can be executed not only from the machine's buttons, but
also from the Start button on screen.
Also features capability to directly execute registered jobs from the
taskbar.
High Compression PDF
High compression of data enables you to manage a large volume of data
and still have room to spare.
Further, it reduces burdens on the network and server, and also pro-
motes sharing of large-volume color data, which has the capability to
accurately relay an image.
Seachable PDF files
Includes text information during scanning to allow full-text searching.
Allows you to quickly find and use required information when needed in
a saved file.
Scan First
From scanning documents to data handling tasks such as Save to folder,
Attach to E-mail, and Print, your scanning workflow is easily performed
with simplified operation.
Just by following the instructions on the highly visual screen, work can
be carried out without hesitation, even for anyone not familiar with digi-
tizing documents.
Plug-in function
Provides easier and quicker cooperation with Cloud application / ECM
software services.
Enables you to scan to a Cloud application. Also supports installed
Evernote*, Google docs
TM , and Microsoft SharePoint* applications.
(Available with P-215/DR-C125 only. Scan to Microsoft SharePoint is also available with
DR-M140/M160.)

Bundled application presets in Job list*
Once installed, bundled applications (including BizCard and PaperPort)
appear as preset Jobs and launch automatically when you send scan
data.
Makes for an easy scan-and-send workflow.

There are two method, ´´Scan First´´ and ´´Select Scan Job´´, available for scanning, and you can start both methods by clicking the ´´Start´´ button on
the screen.
Supports PDF, PDF/A, JPEG, TIFF, BMP and PPTX file formats. Freedom is in your hands to select a format for saving data that fits with your scanning
goals and office environment.
Select Scan Job
Up to 10 scan workflows are registerable, with 50 registerable for DR-
2020U. This simplifies routine selection tasks including file format, scan
settings, and save destination.
Jobs can also be assigned to the machine's buttons, so all you have to
do is press a button to scan and save in a customary location (PDF for-
mat).
