QM-MD5x1, Slot 1 Analog Input Signal Descriptions

INPUT DESCRIPTION

QMLinkPeakToSave

Sets the peaking value that will be saved to the
preset given by QMLinkPreset#ToSave when
SaveQMLinkPreset is held high.
Peaking improves the transmission of the
encoded audio signal over cable lengths up to
300 feet.
Peaking values range from 0% to 100%,
adjustable in 1% increments. Peaking is also
programmable using DMT software.
The following table lists recommended
peak/boost values for various cable lengths.

QMLinkBoostToSave

Sets the boost that will be saved to the preset

SaveQMLinkPreset is held high.

Sets the preset number where the peaking and
boost values given by QMLinkPeakToSave and
QMLinkBoostToSave will be saved.
The peaking and boost are saved when
SaveQMLinkPreset is held high.
Valid analog values range from 1d to 254d. Out-
of-range values are ignored.
