8. If installing ONLY the H&S Maxx Flow intake manifold, slide supplied 4” clamp and reducing coupler onto
Maxx Flow intake manifold. Slide clamp onto coupler and tighten. Remove factory coupler that connects
intercooler pipe to intake manifold (Note: Some models may have a permanent clamp on the coupler that
will need to be cut off to allow coupler to be removed). If installing H&S Boost Tube, slide reducing coupler
onto H&S boost tube. Slide supplied 4” clamp onto coupler and tighten at similar angle as shown below.
9. Slide factory 3” clamp onto intercooler outlet.
10. Install H&S boost tube OR factory intercooler pipe on intercooler. Slide clamp onto coupler and
tighten clamp slightly while still allowing tube to twist and slide.
