C. THE ORRA™ FAMILY OF REELS:

Born from the Revo® series, the Orra™ family of spinning reels offers the perfect combination
of performance and reliability in a sleek package. A stainless steel main shaft and components,
along with HPCR bearings, provide improved corrosion resistance. Machined aluminum braid-
ready spools allow braided line to be tied directly to the spool – no backing required. The
Orra™ family of spinning reels includes the Orra™ Sx and the Orra™ S.

D. HOW TO FILL THE SPOOL WITH LINE

All Orra™ spinning reels are designed for monofilament, braid and fluorocarbon lines. Personal
preference and fishing conditions will determine line selection.

Mono and Fluorocarbon lines

1) Attach reel to rod and pass the line through the rod guides. Lift up on the bail wire to open
the bail. Secure the line to the reel using the arbor knot. Pull line tight around reel spool.

2) Control the filler spool by inserting a pencil into the spool hub. While maintaining tension on
the line, wind the reel handle and continue to fill with line to approximately 1/16” (1.5 mm)
inside the upper lip of the reel spool (show picture). Do not overfill.

E. HANDLE ASSEMBLY

Your Orra™ spinning reel can be configured for right or left handed operation. To convert,
unscrew the handle by rotating it counter clockwise (right). Unscrew and remove the handle
knob cover on the opposite side of the reel. Insert the handle into the opposite side of the reel
and rotate it clockwise (left) until it is firmly seated. Reinstall the handle knob cover on the
opposite side of the reel.

F. ANTI-REVERSE

The anti-reverse feature prevents the rotor from turning backwards. To engage the anti-reverse
feature, slide the switch to the “On” position. To turn off this feature, slide the lever in the
opposite direction. In the “off” position, the rotor will turn both forward and backwards
depending on what direction the handle is turned.
