INSTALLING YOUR DVD RECORDER
Setting the language
You can select for DVD playback the language for the subtitles as well as
the audio language. Please note that with some DVDs you can change the
audio language and/or subtitle language only via the DVD disc menu.
Moreover, you can set the language for the on-screen menu (OSD). How-
ever, the DVD recorder display will only display English text regardless of
this setting.
1 Turn on the TV and select the programme number for the DVD recorder,
if required.
2 Turn on the DVD recorder. Press the “SETUP” button on the remote
control. The setup menu appears.
3 Select the “General” setup page by pressing the direction button “ D ”
and press “ENTER” to enter this page.

Navigate down to the “OSD language” option. You may also set the
“Menu language”, “Audio language” (language of playback) and
“Subtitle language”, if a DVD is inserted.
5 Press “ENTER” to enter the appropriate menu point.
6 Select the required language by pressing the direction button “ C ” or
“ D ” and confirm with the button “ENTER”.

To end, press the “SETUP” button.
Setting the date and time
If the display shows an incorrect time, the time and date have to be set
manually.

Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The setup menu
appears.
2 Select the “General” setup page and press “ENTER” to enter this
page.
3 Use the button “ D ” to navigate down to the “Clock setting” option and
confirm your selection with the button “ENTER”.

Check if the time and date is correct. If required, change the displayed
settings for day, month, year, hour, minute and second by pressing the
direction button “
C ” or “ D ” or by using the number buttons “0-9”.
Select the next input field by pressing the button “ B ” or “ A ” on the
remote control.
5 When now all information are correct, press the button “ENTER” on
your remote control.

To end, press the “SETUP” button.
