Removing the System Board
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. Remove the optical drive .
3. Remove the floppy drive .
4. Remove the hard drive .
5. Remove the expansion card(s) .
6. Remove the memory .
7. Remove the heat sink and processor .
8. Disconnect the processor power cable from the system board.
9. Disconnect the hard-drive and optical-drive data cables from the system board.
