INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER ANTENNA
Screw the transmitter antenna into the top of the transmitter.
Hold the antenna near the base and tighten by hand. Do not
over-tighten. The Field 90 comes with two antennas. The
standard 7.5 inch antenna and the new Mighty Micro
Antenna that gives you 60% of standard range, more than
1000 yds. The Mighty Micro Antenna is available as an
accessory for other models covered by this manual.
SELECTING CONTACT POINT LENGTH
Your Remote Trainer comes with two sets of contact points –
short and long.
The short points are installed in the unit at the factory and
are suitable for most coat lengths. For dogs with especially
long hair or thick undercoats, the long contact points will
give the best possible contact.
To change the contact points, always use the small wrench
supplied with your Remote Trainer. Avoid using tools which
may cause you to over-tighten the contact points.
Periodically check contact points for tightness.
Insert screw-in contact points as shown and only tighten with
the small wrench supplied with the Remote Trainer. Do not
over-tighten. Check contact points periodically for tightness.
