Shooting Using the Two Second Self-

Timer

The camera will shoot approximately two seconds after the shutter button is
pressed, avoiding any camera shake that occurs when pressing the shutter
button.

Choose

After pressing the

p button, press the op

buttons to choose

Î, then press the m

button.

Once set,

Î will appear on the screen.

Follow Step 3 on

p. 57

to shoot.

Customizing the Self-Timer

You can set the time delay (0 – 30 seconds) and the number of shots (1 – 10
shots).

After pressing the

p button, press the op

buttons to choose

button.

Choose the settings.

Press the

op buttons to choose [Delay] or

[Shots].

Press the

qr buttons to choose a value,

then press the

m button.

Follow Step 3 on

p. 57

to shoot.

What if the number of shots is set to two or more shots?

Exposure and white balance settings are set with the first shot.

When you set the time delay for more than two seconds, the self-timer
lamp and sound speed up two seconds before the shutter releases
(when the flash will fire, the lamp lights).
