ture or shutter speed to which the camera
is actually set for normal AE photography is
appropriate for correct exposure as well as
for ease in hand-held shooting should the
photographer be compelled to make ex­
posures before the flash charge is com­

pleted

Switch OFF

Once flash is no longer necessary, be sure

to turn OFF the 188A's main switch to
prevent battery drain With the main
switch OFF, the circuit between the
camera and flash is disconnected and it is
possible to shoot normally even while the
flash is attached to the camera
