Checking the Battery Level

When the power switch is set to <ON>, the battery level will be

indicated in one of six levels:

• The number of possible shots will decrease with any of the following

operations:

• Pressing the shutter button halfway for a prolonged period.

• Often activating only the AF without taking a picture.

• Using the LCD monitor often.

• Using the lens Image Stabilizer.

• The actual number of shots may be fewer than indicated above

depending on the shooting conditions.

• The iens operation is powered by the camera's battery. Depending on

the lens used, the number of possible shots may be lower.
