Lens Peripheral Illumination Correction

Due to the lens characteristics, the four corners of the picture might iook

darker. This is caiied iens light fail-off or drop in peripherai iiiumination.

With JPEG images, the correction is done when the image is captured.

Setting information is appended to RAW images and automatic correction

is possibie with Digital Photo Professional (provided software).

The default setting is [Enable].

Select [Peripheral illumin.
correct.].

• Under the [O'] tab, seiect

[Peripheral illumin. correct.], then
press <©>.

Set the correction setting.

• On the screen, check that

[Correction data available] is

displayed for the attached lens.

• If [Correction data not available] is

displayed, see “About the Lens
Correction Data” on the next page.

• Turn the <0> dial to select [Enable],

then press <@>.

Take the picture.

• The image will be recorded with the

corrected peripheral illumination.

Correction enabled
