Fully Automatic Flash Shooting
When you set the camera's shooting mode to cP;* * (Program AE) or <Q>
(Full Auto), E-TTL ll/E-TTL fully automatic flash will make it as easy as
normal AE shooting.

Set the Speedlite to <ETTL>.
• Press the < MODE > button so that
cETTL^' is displayed.

Focus the subject.

Press the shutter button halfway to focus.
► The shutter speed and aperture will be set
as displayed in the viewfinder.

Check that the ■; t icon is lit in the
viewfinder.

5 Take the picture.

• Check that the subject is within the
effective range displayed on the LCD
panel.
A preflash is fired right before the shot is
takan, then the main flash is tired,
if a standard flash exposure was obtained,
the flash exposure confirmation lamp will
light for about 3 sec.
