CE DRUM GUARDS—PIT
The 224 pit dyno also benefits from the CE package. The CE drum guards provide
extra protection from the dyno’s drum by reducing the distance between the drum
and the dyno’s chassis. The placement of the drum guards can be manually adjusted.
The following instructions are for installing the CE drum guards on a 224 pit dyno. If
you have an above ground dyno refer to “CE Drum Guards—Above Ground” on page 3.

Before installing the CE drum guards, the pit covers need to be removed.
Never operate the dynamometer with the covers removed.

Remove the sixteen 3/8-16 x 1" button-head allen bolts securing the pit covers to
the dyno and set aside.

Remove the pit covers and set aside.
