THE SYMBOL CE
This appliance meets the requirements for safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The relevant ‘CE’ mark
can be found on the nameplate, on the packing box and in the instruction manual.

After finishing the measurement the device automatically changes back to clock function.
Setting the clock
•
To set the clock, first enter measuring operation mode, then press the “TIME” button for a few seconds.
•
You can set the minutes value first, reducing it with “°C °F” and increasing it with the “UNIT” button.
•
Press the “TIME” button again to set the ‘Hours’ value.
•
By pressing the “TIME” button again after setting the time, you can change back to measuring operation
mode. Otherwise, the device will automatically reset after a few minutes.
Using the timer function.
•
The appliance can be used as a kitchen timer. To set, press the “TIME” button while displaying ‘Hours’.
•
Next, ‘Seconds’, and after again pressing the “TIME” button, ‘Minutes’ can be adjusted, in the same way as
setting ‘Hours’.
•
After pressing the “TIME” button the device starts counting down.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning!
It is very important not to immerse the device or hold it under a jet of water!
•
The kitchen scale’s external cover and the glass surface must be wiped with a smooth, damp cloth which
doesn’t leave fibres, or is made of synthetic material. After cleaning wipe the cover with a dry cloth. Ensure
humidity or dirt does not enter the device.
•
When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.
