Thanks for buying Pro Coworker II (PCII), an intervalometer which enables both wireless
and wired remote control of your camera, with a host of improvements over the original
version. Please read this manual carefully for the best results.

Multiple cables for use with different cameras (must purchase separately)

1. When connecting PCII to camera, do not pull the cable forcefully.
2. When connecting remote to camera, make sure camera is on. When not using for
an extended period of time, take the batteries out.
3. Keep PCII in a dry and cool place, away from high temps and direct exposure to
sunlight.
4. Exercise caution when using PCII to prevent damage or injury.
5. PCII's time display is not as accurate as most watches and clocks.
6. Make sure camera's half-press focus function is activated for best usage.
7. Even when camera has no battery life, PCII can still work.

Lock Icon – long pressing Backlight/Lock Button will lock all buttons
Timer Mode Icon – indicates intervalometer functions (timed exposures)
Delay Icon (DELAY) – indicates length of time before picture is taken
Exposure Icon (LONG) – indications length of exposure
Interval Icon (INTVL) – indicates length of time between each exposure
Battery Icon – indicates battery life
Time Display – shows the time of day in Clock Mode
Bulb Icon – long pressing shutter enters Bulb Mode
Remote Mode Icon– indicates shutter-only, wired or wireless
Channel Icon– change channel using Set Button in Remote Mode
Picture Count – adjust # of exposures in Timer Mode
Number Icon – N indicates picture count, CH indicates channel number.

1. After batteries are installed, LCD shows timer. Set the clock
by pressing SET button, then Up/Down/Left/Right buttons
to change time parameters.

3. When in Timer Mode, pressing the shutter button will automatically switch unit
to Remote Mode.

4. In Remote Mode, pressing shutter button for 3 seconds will enter Bulb Mode.

5. Channel Settings: In Remote Mode, press Set button to enable channel switching.
Change channels by pressing Up, Down, Left or Right buttons. 00 is the default,
can use up to 100 possible channels. When setting channel, full press SET button
on receiver until light is red, then press the Start/Stop button to send signal to
receiver.

* Note:
1) When battery is replaced, previous channel used is remembered by PCII.

2) To restore default settings, hold the SET button and reinstall batteries.

6. Clock Mode – Default shows time of day. Press the SET button and clock
will blink. Press Up or Down buttons to change the time parameters, Left or Right
buttons to switch between hours, minutes, and seconds.

7. Remote Mode – Default shows time of day, continuous shooting icon, channel
number, and battery life. Half-press shutter button to autofocus (light is green).
Full-press to fire camera shutter (light is red).

8. Timer Mode – Default shows Timer Icon, DELAY, LONG, INTVL, battery life, timer
settings, and picture count. Navigate between them using the Left/Right buttons.
Press SET button to enable parameter adjustment. Press Start/Stop button to
start and stop exposure.

1) DELAY – Adjusts time before exposure begins. Left/Right buttons switch
between hours/minutes/seconds. Up/Down buttons adjust parameters.
2) LONG – Adjusts length of exposure. Left/Right buttons switch between hours/
minutes/seconds. Up/Down buttons adjust parameters.
3) INTVL – Adjust time between each exposure. Left/Right buttons switch between
hours/minutes/seconds. Up/Down buttons adjust parameters.
4) Default parameters for LONG = 1 second, for INTVL = 3 seconds. For best results,
interval time should be at least 2 seconds.
5) Picture Count (N) – Adjust number of exposures, from 0-998, or unlimited (---).
Left/Right buttons switch between single/double/triple digits, while Up/Down
buttons adjust number parameters.

Bulb Mode – default shows timer, battery life, bulb icon (B), continuous shooting
icon, and channel setting.

* Note:
1) Long press shutter button for 3 seconds to enter Bulb Mode and start exposure.
Timer will begin counting automatically. Press shutter button again to stop
exposure.
2) For best results, use remote within 100 meters of camera.

9. Backlight/Lock Function – Single press lock button to enable LCD backlight
(stays on for 10 seconds) Full press for 3 seconds to lock all buttons on PCII. Lock
icon will show on LCD. Press again for 3 seconds to unlock buttons.
* Note: Shutter button cannot be locked when using wired remote.

10. Wired Remote Mode - Use the cable to attach PCII transmitter/remote directly
to camera. No need to use the receiver in this case. In this mode, shutter can be
used without batteries.

11. It can also be used as a shutter cable.

Delay, Exposure, and Interval Time Settings

1. Switch ON/OFF to power on and off. Light will blink red when receiver is on.
2. When no operation performed for 10 seconds, receiver will enter sleep mode. Indicator light will
blink red rapidly.
3. Full-press SET button for 2 seconds, light is red. Channel signal may be received from transmitter/
remote. When signal has been received, light will blink.

*

Note: PCII only works when transmitter and receiver channels are matched.


4. When battery is low, indicator light will blink red rapidly and will shut down when battery life is
drained.
