10.6 Places
The Places application allows you to find places near you.
10.6.1 Opening the Places Application
1. On the Home screen, touch

> Places .
2. Touch a category.

Your phone searches for the places belonging to this category around your current
location.
3. Touch a place to view more information about it or use the search box to search for
other places.
10.7 Talk
Talk is Google's instant messaging service. You can use it to communicate in real
time with other Google Talk users.
10.7.1 Opening the Talk Application
On the Home screen, touch

> Talk .
Your Talk account is linked to the Google account you set up with your phone.
10.7.2 Adding a Friend
1. Open the Talk application, and then touch

> Add friend .
2. Enter the Talk ID or Gmail address of the friend you want to add.
3. Touch Send invitation .
10.7.3 Accepting an Invitation
If you have invited someone to chat or if someone has invited you to chat, this
information is displayed in your friend list.
