A General Use Wheelchair Back Cushion
to Improve Seating Posture

and Inner Protective Liner
Contoured foam back cushion comforms
to provide support to the lumbar region and
comfort for the upper back. A soft sealed liner
protects the foam core from moisture. Also
available flat without lumbar support.
The Stabilization Board
A rigid ABS Board secured on the back of the
foam core prevents hammocking in sling-back
wheelchairs.
The Pressure EEZ®
General™ Back Cushion Cover
A removable, washable, urethane coated,
vapor permeable moisture proof flame
retardant stretch knit polyester fabric provides
comfort and durability while reducing interface
pressure and shearing. The back of the cushion
is a non-slip vinyl to prevent the back cushion
from sliding.
The cover has straps on the back to securely
position the cushion on any size wheelchair.
Use and Application of the

for Positioning, Pressure Relief
and Comfort
The General™ Back Cushion is designed to
position the client while seated providing correct
seating posture and maximizing back support and
comfort.
The contoured surface of The General™ Back
Cushion is designed to support the lumbar
curvature while providing upper back support.
The stabilization board prevents the lower back
from hammocking.
Size Selection of the
General ™ Back Cushion
The back cushion is available in 4 widths – 16”,
18”, 20” and 22”.
Positioning the General ™ Back Cushion
Place the back cushion on the wheelchair seat
(behind seat cushion if used) as shown in photos.
The back cushion is designed with two straps
at the top and two straps at the bottom of the
cushion to prevent the back cushion from sliding
on the wheelchair upholserty. Place straps over
the top and under the bottom of wheelchair back
and securely fasten.
