Description

This test checks that all sensors shows adequate values. This includes voltage,

temperature, current and fuse sensors. It checks that all values read from sensors are

within given thresholds.

Sequence (regression)

read all sensors from the IPMC.

check that all values are within their thresholds.

Execute

<ipmitool -v sensor list> to get a list witH all sensors.

Possible failures are

the diagnostic code encodes the number of the failed sensor in the last two hexa-
decimal digits.

Failure impact

IPMC-00050001 diagnostic code results of failure to access the IPMC through the
KCS interface. The impact is loss of applications running on carrier host processor.
This impacts at least Ethernet functionality and command line interface.

IPMC-000501nn diagnostic code results from a failure to read the sensor nn.
Impact is loss of the sensor, i.e. the sensor has failed.

IPMC-000502nn diagnostic code results from the sensor nn reading values outside
its defined known-good values, either exceeding thresholds or indicating failure
