The Avoid Road menu appears.

you want to avoid and press

ț After you select all the streets you want
to avoid, use the joystick to select OK
to proceed and press

The MCS returns to the Route Select
menu and recalculates the route.

When you are traveling on an express-
way or a freeway, the system calculates
a new route avoiding the current road
for a distance of five miles. On county
and local roads, the system calculates a
new route avoiding the current road for
a distance of one mile.
