INSTALLATION & REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
Please read and follow the installation and useage tips as shown below SPECIAL NOTES: *Meets SAE Class “S”
requirements for limited fender clearance *This product is intended for ice and snow covered roads only *This product is
legal in every state that allows the use of tire chains.
IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend that the chains be fitted to the tire prior to actual use to ensure a proper fit. Tire
sizes may vary due to age, manufacturer, tread or type.
1. Park vehicle on firm, level ground and away from the flow of traffic. Set emergency brake. Chains should be installed
on the drive wheels ( i.e. rear wheel drive, place chains on rear. Front wheel drive , place chains on front)
2. Lay cable chain on ground with smooth side of the cross member hooks up. (Smooth side of cross member is stamped
“TIRE SIDE” ) move the chain in a sweeping motion under the vehicle so the open mid section is positioned up against
the backside of the tire. (SEE PHOTO A)
3. Reach around the back of the tire with both arms and grasp both ends of the non-split side cable that is furthest away
from you. Pull both ends to the top of the tire so the fasteners can be seen and handled more easily. Fasten the rear side
cable by sliding the NUB-END through the similar sized fastener hole (SEE PHOTO B1 & B2)
4. Next center the cable chain on the tire so that each side cable extends equally down the side-walls of the tire.
5. At the top outside of the tire, take the NUB-END of the lower outside fastener and thread it through the keyhole
fastener. Grasp the outside cable with both hands and pull it toward you to create as much slack as possible; then take the
NUB-END of the lower fastener (near the ground) and thread it through the lower keyhole as far as possible to take up
slack. (SEE PHOTO C1, C2 AND D1, D2)
6. Attach the rubber adjuster equally to each of the six segments of the outside cable to take up the additional slack (SEE
PHOTO E1 & E2) to make this process simpler, attach the first hook at the 1 o’clock position, the next hook opposite it at
the 7 o’ clock position and so forth. The open side of hooks on the adjuster should face away from the tire so they do not
dig into the tire or wheel. Make sure the chain tightener will not rub on the wheel area to avoid damage. No additional
adjustment is required.
TO REMOVE TIRE CHAINS
Drive car off the highway to a safe, level ground. Set the emergency brake. Remove the rubber adjuster from the side
cable. Unhook the outside and inside fasteners. Place the chains on ground and drive off the chains. Inspect chains for
damage or worn parts. Roll up chains together and place back in bag. After use, clean and spray with an all-purpose
lubricant.

Importante: Recomendamos muy especialmente que las cadenas sean medidas a las llantas antes de usarse para asegurar su medida
apropiada. El tamaño de las llantas puede variar debido a su edad, rodada, tipo o fabricante.
1.Estacione su vehículo en terreno firme, parejo u fuera de la corriente de tráncito. Afíance el freno de emergencia. Las cadenas
deben ser instaladas segun la tracción de manejo (ej. Tracció trasera, colóquense las cadenas de las llantas de atrás. Tracción
delantera, colóquense las cadenas in las llantad de adelante).
2.Extienda el cable de la cadena en el suelo con los ganchos del cruce hacia arriba. (El lado liso del cruce esta marcado “LADO DE
LA LLANTA” mueva la cadena en movimiento barrido por abajo del vehículo, a manera del que la parte abierta o a la mitad quede en
posición contraria al lado de atrás de la llanta. (#A) Este movimiento barrido se hace major incándose frente a la llanta.
3.Con ambos brazos, alcance y sujete las puntas del cable, no abierto, que este mas lejos de Ud. Jale ambas puntad para arriba de las
llantas de manera que los ganchos se puedan ver y manejar facilmente. Abroche por entre el agujero de cierre (#B) . Este cable lateral
ahora se convierte en cable lareral “interior”.
4.Por afuera arriba de la llanta tome el NUB- END de el cable lateral de afuera y ensártelo en el cerrojo de el broche. Tome el canle
lateral de afuera con ambas manos y jálelo hacia Ud. Dejando que quede flojo lo menos possible. Lugo tome el NUB-END de el
gancho de abajo u ensártelo por el cerrojo de abajo (cerca del suelo).
5.Conecte el ajustador de hule por igual a cada uno de los seis segmentos del cable exterior para quitar el flojo adicional que quede.
(#D) Para hacer este proceso mas sencillo, siguiendo las manecillas del reloj, conecte el primer gancho en posición del #1, el
siguiente gancho a lado opuesto en posición del #7 y así sucesivamente. Para abrir los ganchos a un lado del ajustador deben abrirse
afuera de la llanta para que no se entierre en la llanta. Los ganchos se deben abrir por un lado de ajustador para que no se entierren en
la llanta. Asegurese de que el ajustador no rose la llanta para evitar algun daño. No se require ajuste.
PARA REMOVER O DESMONTAR LAS CADENAS:
Maneje su carro hacia un lugar seguro y parejo. Afiánce el freno de emergencia. Desengánche o remueva el ajustador lateral del
cable. Desengánche los ajustadores de afueray de adentro. Suelte las cadenas en el suelo y maneje el carro fuera de las cadenas.
Inspecione ;as cadenas por possible daño o partes desgastadas. Despues de usarse, limpiense y rocíelas con algun lubricante
multiusos. Rnrolle sus cadenas y coloquese en su bolsa.
