SYMPTOM CAUSE

REMEDY

Hum or “Buzzing” through
the speakers

Ground loop


Intermittent or poor connection
of interconnect ground

RCA/XLR Switch not in correct
position

Install 2-pin adapter on AC
cord to float the ground

Replace interconnect


If using balanced inputs, make
sure switch is toward XLR
connector and toward RCA jack
for RCA in

Reduced Output

RCA/XLR Switch not in correct
position

If using balanced inputs, make
sure switch is toward XLR
connector and toward RCA jack
for RCA in

AC fuse blows

Overload


Short at output

Playing very loud into very
low impedance. Replace fuse

Make sure (+) and (-) of
binding post are not shorted

LED out

Protection circuit activated

Turn power off. Wait 10

seconds and turn back on
