• Do not touch the surfaces or the Hot Plate when in operation, as they get hot.
• The Hot Plate is designed only for the heating and cooking of food, and must only be used with cooking utensils placed on

it.

• The Hot Plate must be turned to “0” setting and disconnected from the power outlet when not in use.
• Cooking utensils, regardless of their size, should not project beyond the Hot Plate or intrude into the area of close

proximity of the controls.

• It is dangerous to operate any electrical product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions or is

dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection and repair.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HOT PLATE


• Disconnect the Hot Plate from the power outlet
• Do not immerse the Hot Plate in any liquid.
• Do not allow the cord to touch any hot surfaces of the Hot Plate.
• Clean the painted surface with a damp soft cloth and mild household cleaning powder.
• Baked on marks on the circular Hot Plate can be removed with a household cleaning powder. Turn the unit on for a moment

to dry after cleaning.

• Commercially available Hot Plate cleaners are recommended to preserve the natural finish of the Hot Plate.

The appliance has no user serviceable parts. If repair or cord replacement is required, contact the dealer from whom you

purchased your kettle or return to the address noted on the warranty card.
