MAINTENANCE
1. Examine the friction disc occasionally and when it is
completely worn, replace housing/friction disc assembly
(Item #1).
2. At this time regrease the thrust bearing (Item #16). The
thrust bearing has been packed with H-130 which was
specifically selected for these units.
NOTE: Re-lubricate with H-130 or Chevron SRI. H-130
is available in a six tube (14 1/2 ox) carton,
product #8539 at Nexen Distributors.
The other bearings are pre-lubricated and sealed and
require no lubrication.
CAUTION
Working with spring loaded or tension
loaded fasteners and devices can cause
injury. Wear safety glasses and take the
appropriate safety precautions.
