2. Focusing on Rifle or Spotting Scope:
The best method to use in getting your image focused is to pre-focus both the scope and NVD prior to use.
Then turn the objective focus on the NVD fully counterclockwise, as you are looking through it, then clockwise
approximately ¼ turn clockwise before you fine tune the scope.
Moisture
The Day/Night Adapter is water resistant. Take care to remove moisture to prevent damage to the locking
mechanism after prolonged exposure. After drying the adaptor, lubricate the thumbscrews and plunger to help
prevent corrosion.
Salt Water
If the Day/Night Adapter is exposed to a salt water environment, flush it with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
