Magnetic tunnel

The fi xed tunnel is an integral part of
the mechanism and

MUST NOT

be

cut or damaged, as it will affect the
operation of the latch mechanism (Fig. 9).

Operates by magnetism and
requires no batteries.

Tunnel extensions (optional)

The cat fl ap is designed to fi t any depth of hole. It is recommended that
the tunnels be glued on to the frame and each other. (Fig. 10).

Using the 4 way lock

The 4 way lock allows you to control your cat’s access
in and out of your home.

It is a good idea not to use the 4 way lock until your pet is thoroughly
familiar with using the door. Your pet may become confused as to why
you have installed it.

Testing your magnetic cat fl ap

Position the 4 way lock in the ‘in or out’ position. Place collar key on
centre of tunnel. Let go of collar key and push door with your hand to open
(Fig. 11). Do not force fl ap open with magnet in hand (Fig. 12). Fit one
hanging key to your cat’s collar (Fig. 13).
