INSTALL FOOT PUMP / WESTERN FLUSH BOWL IN
ASSEMBLED MAXIM 3000 UNIT WITH ROTOMOLD BASE
TOOLS: ● Drill ●1-1/2” hole saw ●2” hole saw ●2-1/2” hole saw ●5-3/4” hole saw ●Rivet gun ●Air saw
●# 10 drill bit ●5/16” hex nut driver or driver bit ●3/8” hex driver bit ●T-30 torx bit ●Flat blade screw driver
●Phillips screw driver or driver bit ●Tape measure ●Marker
♦Need to remove tank / vent pipe from unit: Using a 3/8” hex driver bit remove 4 screws securing tank to unit. Then
remove 3 screws in front left corner of roof & 2 screws in rear left corner of a roof using a T-30 torx bit to pull vent
pipe & tank from unit.
1) Drill two holes using 2” hole
saw at dimple locations on rear of
tank at top of hose channel.
2) Drill two holes using 2” hole saw
at rear of base tank cradle as shown
(measurements are to the center of
the holes). Then cut in-between
holes to create a slot. 3) Drill hole at location shown on floor
of base using 5-3/4” hole saw
(measurements are to the center of
the hole).
4) Tip unit onto left side panel.
Using an air saw cut columns on
bottom of base to create
clearance for foot pump. 5) Drill two holes using 2” hole saw
on bottom of base near pump mount
hole drilled earlier as shown
(measurements are to the center of
the holes). Then cut in-between
holes to create a slot. 5) Drill hole using 2-1/2” hole saw on
bottom of base rear right corner as
shown (measurements are to the
center of the holes).
6) Feed inlet / outlet hoses one at
a time starting at slot in bottom of
base near pump mount hole. Mark
both ends of each hose for inlet
and outlet. 7) Use hole in bottom of base rear
right corner to feed hose around
corner. (first hose should be located
as shown to allow for installation of
2
nd hose).
8) Pull hoses through slot at rear of
base tank cradle (top of base).
