ULTRAFAST THERMOMETER FOR BABIES

Before use, read the instructions and warnings given in this handbook carefully and keep the handbook in a safe place.
Digital thermometer with a large LCD display for easy reading. Fast and accurate fitted with a sound signal when the
temperature reading has been taken. Stores the last read temperature, to evaluate any variations. Extremely easy to
use, it is kept in a practical case to avoid risk of breaking. The flexible probes can be washed, and it turns off
automatically.

GENERAL WARNINGS

1 - Self-measuring means control, not diagnosis and treatment, any unusual readings must be discussed with your doctor.

Under no circumstances must you change the medicine doses that have been prescribed by your doctor.

2 - Do not squeeze, bend, drop or break the thermometer.
3 - Keep it out of the reach of children.
4 - Do not expose to sunrays or direct sources of heat. Keep in a dry clean place.
5 - Do not immerse the thermometer in water or other liquids, only the probe is waterproof.
6 - This thermometer reads only the armpit, rectal or oral temperature. Do not use it for reading auricolar temperatures.
7 - In certain environments subject to radio interference, the product may operate incorrectly. In such cases, move the

thermometer away from this area, or remove the battery and replace it.

DESCRIPTION OF APPLIANCE

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1 - Press the ON/OFF key. For a few seconds all the function symbols light up on the display. The thermometer will then
display 36.5°C then L, and the °C symbol will flash. The thermometer is now ready to use. 2 - Place the probe as follows:
IN THE MOUTH: place the probe under the tongue and keep the mouth closed for about 10-15 seconds, until the
temperature stabilises. The standard temperature for this type of reading is 37°C. UNDER THE ARM: place the probe
under the armpit and keep the arm well pressed against the chest for about 10-15 seconds, until the temperature
stabilises. The standard temperature for this type of reading is 36.7°C. IN THE RECTUM: lubricate the probe with a water-
soluble gelatinous solution. Do not use Vaseline. Insert the probe into the rectum for about 1 cm., until the temperature
stabilises (about 10-15 seconds). The standard temperature for this type of reading is 37.0°C.
3 - When the thermometer gives off the sound signal, remove it. The reading is terminated and shown on the display.
The thermometer turns off automatically after 10 minutes without use (in the meantime the reading is still displayed) otherwise
you can turn it off by pressing the ON/OFF button. If the temperature is above 44°C, the display shows HC; if it is below
32°C, the temperature shows LC.
