.25 Wall Mounted Lavatory Faucet

10.Measure from the base of the escutcheon to the

surface of the finished wall and note the dimension of

this gap.

11.Remove the handle assembly, trim connector and trim

sleeve (5). Cut the cartridge stem (4), and trim sleeve
by an amount equal to the dimension obtained in step
9.

12.Thread the trim sleeve and handle trim connector

back onto the valve. If the escutcheon (15) does not
contact the wall, cut an additional amount off of the
cartridge stem and/or the trim sleeve.

13.If desired, a bead of caulk or silicone may be applied

where the escutcheon contacts the wall.

14.Hand tightening the handle assembly is adequate; if

this assembly is too tight, the handle will bind.

SPOUT INSTALLATION:

15.Unpack the spout and verify the spout adapter (1)

is threaded completely into the spout.

16.To verify alignment of the spout and adapter, make a

mark at 12:00 that extends from the spout onto the
adapter.

17.Unthread the adapter from the spout then slide the

adapter onto the copper. The face of the adapter
should NOT extend more than 1

1

4

" off the face of

the finished wall.

18.After verifying fit, make sure the mark made in step 16

remains at 12:00 then sweat the adapter onto the
copper. If it is not aligned, the spout will not thread on
completely and cause a leak or not align properly so

the tip points down at 6:00.

19.Allow the adapter to cool then slide the escutcheon

onto the adapter.

20.Thread the spout onto the adapter making sure the

washer (22) is in place.

DRAIN INSTALLATION

Note: This faucet does not use a lift rod to

operate the drain stopper. Instead, it uses a

simple pop-up drain that is closed and opened
by pushing down on the stopper.

21.Remove the upper collar from the pop-up drain

assembly and discard the upper gasket.

22.Set the upper collar in the lavatory drain opening

using a clear adhesive silicone.

23.Re-attach the lower drain assembly using the gasket

provided then tighten until fully secured. A clear

adhesive silicone may be used to ensure a water-tight
seal between the gasket and lavatory.

24.Attach the tail piece using the gasket provided.

INSPECT THE INSTALLATION

25.Remove the flow restrictor assembly (13) from the

spout using the tool provided. Carefully open the hot
and cold valves to flush out any debris in the supply

lines.

26.Inspect all connections for leaks. Reinstall the flow

restrictor assembly.

27.Push down on the drain stopper to close the drain

then fill the sink with water to make sure the stopper

operates and seals properly.

28.Push down on the stopper to open the drain. If the

stopper has to be removed, simply pull up on the
stopper which will also remove the strainer.
