These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
ETOILE VOLUME CONTROL VALVE TRIM WITH METAL CROSS HANDLE (STYLE# ETVC70)
All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.

5. Install handle gland cover by threading it into the
threaded sleeve until it stops at the escutcheon.
6. Remove the indice from the handle, insert handle
with handle stem into gland cover until it connects
with cartridge stem.
7. Thread screw into cartridge stem until the whole
assembly is secure. Thread indice back into handle.

8. Pull the tile guard off the threaded sleeve on the
diverter valve rough. Mark the threaded sleeve at
the finished wall. Unthread the sleeve and cut 1" in
front of the mark.
9. Mark the cartridge stems at the wall, then unthread
the cartridge from the valve body. Cut the cartridge
stems 1-7/8" in front of the mark.
10. After the cuts have been made, thread cartridge and
handles sleeves back onto valve body.

11. Hold the diverter plate† (SOLD SEPARATELY) up to
wall and thread the trim nut onto the threaded
sleeve until it stops and secures the plate to the wall.
12. Repeat steps 4-7 to install handle trim onto diverter
plate.
