These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
CLOTHILDE STAND PIPE WASTE AND OVERFLOW (STYLE No. COWO75).
All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.
Please consult your Design Associate for current specifications.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Outlet Connection Size & Type: 1 1/2" Tailpiece

Waste & Overflow Horizontal Spread: 5" - 27 15/16"

IMPORTANT:

¾ To ensure this product is installed properly, you

must read and follow these guidelines.


¾ The owner/user of this product must keep this

information for future reference.

¾ Proper blocking is recommended to ensure

adequate support.

¾ Inspect this product to assure you have all the

parts required for proper installation.

¾ Refer to the specification and assembly drawings

attached. Product is sold partially assembled but
shown fully disassembled for illustrative and
service purposes only.

¾ This product must be installed by a professional

licensed contractor. Be sure your installation
conforms to all federal, state, and local codes. In
the State of Massachusetts, all installations must
comply with the rules and regulations set forth
within 248 CMR.

INSTALLATION:

1. Position the stand pipe in the desired location

and mark where the screws will be installed.
NOTE: BLOCKING IS RECOMMENDED TO
ENSURE ADEQUATE SUPPORT.

2. Remove the stand pipe then drill the holes.

3. Attach the tailpiece to the stand pipe and install

it using the screws provided.

4. Position the tub in the desired location. The

recommended distance from the outside edge of
the tub to the stand pipe is 2".

5. Slide the nut and compression ring onto the

drain ell. Place the drain ell into the stand pipe
and position the drain ell in-line with the drain
hole in the tub. It is best to dry-fit the drain-ell
prior to cutting the drain ell and making final
connections.

6. Place the grid into the drain hole in the tub and

attach it to the drain ell using the screw
provided. Ensure that the rubber gasket is in
place between the tub and drain ell.

7. Tread the nut onto the stand pipe and securely

tighten.

8. After completing final drain connections below

the floor; fill the tub with water to make sure the
overflow operates and seals properly.

9. Drain the tub while checking for leaks.
