4. Make sure the grinding bowl is in the locked position, then place
the lid onto grinder base.
5. P ress and hold on/off button to begin grinding. Please note: A
safety feature of this grinder does not allow it to operate unless the
lid is in place.
6. Grind until beans are ground to desired consistency. To stop
grinding, release pre s s u re from on/off button.
7. Remove plug from outlet.
8. M e a s u re coffee as desired. See measurement suggestions on re v e r s e .
9. To store unused ground coffee, remove grinding bowl and cover
with storage lid. Refrigerate.

1. Be sure that grinder plug has been removed from outlet.
2. All removable parts are dishwasher safe on the top rack. Do not put parts on
bottom shelf. Never immerse the grinder base unit in water or other liquid.
3. Store excess cord by pushing a section at a time into the
cord storage area in the base of the unit.

This warranty supersedes all previous warranties on this
Cuisinart ® product. This warranty is available to consumers
only. You are a consumer if you own a Cuisinart ® product
that was purchased at retail for personal, family or household
use. This warranty is not available to retailers or other
commercial purchasers or owners.
We warrant that this Cuisinart ® product will be free of
defects in material or workmanship under normal home use
for 18-months from the date of original purchase.
For warranty purposes, we would like to suggest that you re g-
ister your product on-line at www. c u i s i n a rt.ca to facilitate veri-
fication of the date of original purchase. However, should you
not wish to register on-line we recommend the consumer to
maintain original receipt indicating proof of purchase. In the
event that you do not have proof of purchase date, the purc h a s e
date for purposes of this warranty will be the date of manufacture .

NOTICE: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug cord into outlet.
2. Remove lid from base of grinder.
3. Fill stainless steel bowl with desired quantity of beans. Measure
beans in bowl using measurement markings. Do not fill beans
above the “max” fill line at top of the stainless steel bowl (max fill is
equal to 90 grams).
