‘Fit to TV’ can be used to adjust the size of the Windows desktop to perfectly fit the TV screen in
case of TV overscreen.
‘Fit to TV’ only works in extend mode. If choosing the option while in mirror mode, the mode will
change to extend and TV screen be placed as an extension above the notebook screen in
Windows Display Properties.
Configuration
1. To configure ‘Fit to TV’, choose the option
from the DisplayLink menu found under
the display icon in the tray.
The following interface appears on the
laptop’s screen
2. You will also see a red border shown
on the TV screen
3. Once the red border is at the edges of the TV screen, click “Apply” to resize the Windows desktop.
In extend mode you can move any window from the notebook side to the TV side by dragging it
towards the extended screen.
The red border shows the size of the
new Windows desktop.
Use the “+” and “-” controls on the Fit
to TV window to change the size of the
red border until it fits on the TV screen.
