Using Another Line(s) during a Conversation
During a conversation, if another line indicator(s) flashes red, it means an
incoming call is being received on the line. You can answer the second call
while keeping the first call.
You can also make a call without terminating the first call.
Example: If you are using LINE 1
Press iHOLDi to put the first
call (LINE 1) on hold.
• The LINE 1 indicator
flashes.
Press the other line button
(LINE 2, 3 or 4) to make or
answer the second call.
• The line indicator lights
green.
To return to the first call
(LINE 1), press the line
button of the first
call (LINE 1).
• The second call is
terminated.

To keep the second call in step 3, press I HOLD I before pressing the line
button of the first call. Then you can also make/answer another call by
pressing one of the other two line buttons.
You can know if another call arrives on the other line during a
conversation by hearing two tones (incoming call tone). To set this, see
page 25.
